The MA in Special Education, Option in Early Childhood Special Education provides candidates with broad knowledge of disability and practical experiences to improve educational outcomes for young children with disabilities with a focus on family partnership. Candidates also develop in-depth understanding of evidence-based interventions for autism spectrum disorders and transition planning across the lifespan.

Admission Requirements

  • Admission to CSULA. 
  • A 2.75 grade point average in the last 90 quarter units attempted. 
  • Credential candidates must attend an orientation meeting prior to admission to the program. 
  • Two (2) letters of recommendation.
