Mission
The Education Alumni Network fosters and supports a diverse community of leaders in education. The purpose of the network is to build bonds of camaraderie among alumni and to champion lifelong involvement with Cal State LA. Through its events and activities, it serves as a resource for graduates to stay connected, advance career goals, and support our shared passion for teaching and learning.

Chief Human Resources Officer, Los Angeles Unified School District
Ileana is a double Cal State LA alumna earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development in 1986, and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration in 1993. Ileana serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she oversees the Human Resources Division for the District and directs talent management strategy for Certificated staff made up of teachers, principals, and support personnel. Join us for a refreshing session on strategies for personal well-being in times of ambiguity and stress.
