The Department of Computer Science (CS) offers individual and group advising to support student needs. Individual advising provides personalized attention to a student's academic goals. Group Advising, Information Sessions, and Orientations offer students a greater understanding of the university, college, and department. Select the appropriate menu below for details.
Individual Advising
ECST has a split advising model carried out by the ECST Advising Center and the Department faculty to ensure students achieve their educational and personal goals. To determine who to contact, review the information below.
Upper-Division and Graduate academic advisement are carried out by faculty in the department. Please contact the Computer Science faculty for a meeting.
Lower-Division Computer Science and Pre Computer Science Majors (CS, Pre CS) currently working on their math (up to Calculus II) and/or computer science program series, work with the College of ECST Advising Center for advisement.
