See manufacturer's user guide for more information on capabilities.
WEN vertical bandsaw (left), Shopsmith 4-inch Jointer (middle), Excalibur-21 Scroll saw (right)
Our Makerspace features a vertical wood bandsaw that is ideal for making straight cuts in thin and thick wood. We offer a 4-inch jointer that is perfect for flattening, squaring, and smoothing wood surfaces for accurate joinery. We also offer the Excalibur-21 scroll saw with fine blades. It excels in intricate cutting, making it perfect for detailed patterns and delicate woodworking projects.
Prototyping Equipment:
Bambu Lab P1P & P1S printers (Top), Ender 3 Printers (bottom)
Our Makerspace features two Bambu Lab P1S and one P1P 3D printers. With advanced features like automatic bed leveling and multi-color printing capability (AMS), these printers deliver high-quality results efficiently, perfect for prototyping and functional parts. Both models support a wide range of materials, including PLA, ABS, PETG, and carbon fiber-infused filaments.
The Ender 3D printers only support PLA material because they do not have an enclosure. They create high quality results. They are, however, much slower than the Bambu Lab printers. We tend to reserve these printers for low priority prints.
The printers are available to use at no charge. Please consider bringing your own filament if you are using a large amount for a project. Thank you.
