Meal Plan Highlights
South Village residents automatically sign up for a meal plan when applying to live on campus. Students living in the apartments (Phase I, II & GEA) have the option to sign up for a meal plan. If you didn't sign up when applying for Housing, you can still sign up or upgrade your meal plan.
Sign Up & Upgrade Instructions
- Log in to the Housing Portal
- Go to the Housing Forms tab
- Scroll down and click on Meal Plan Add & Change Request Form, complete and submit the DocuSign form.
- Make your payment on Transact (formerly known as CASHNet).
All student meal plans include a declining balance allocation at the start of each semester. Declining Balance funds may be used at the Village Commons and to swipe in a guest at the Village Café. Balance funds remaining at the end of the fall semester will “roll over” to the spring, but expire at the end of the academic year.
The Unlimited 7 and Unlimited 5 meal plans include five guest meal swipes per semester. Unused guest meal swipes do not “roll over” from the fall to spring semester and will automatically expire at the end of each semester.
The Village Commons will be closed during semester breaks (Fall Break, Winter Intersession, Spring Break, and Summer Intersessions) and specific holidays in which the University is closed. We will post updated hours as we get closer to holidays and breaks.
Dining on campus is not one size fits all. Our meal plans are designed to meet the needs of our residential program.
